When they tell us to write our graduation speeches, they tell the salutatorian to write about the past. So usually they write about all the people, occurrences, and things they’ll remember. However, when I thought back on the last 13 years it became evident to me that if I do talk about the past, my fonder memories and the way I’ve perceived things may be different than others.-- I don’t want to stand up here and tell you my version of a story you already know.
